It’s been a whole month now since we had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring the Salesforce World Tour London 2024. This past month has given us the opportunity to reflect on what we learned and document our key takeaways for you in this article.
Salesforce AI Centre London:
- During the keynote, Salesforce UK CEO Zahra Bahrololoumi announced the first Salesforce AI centre is to be built right here in London. This follows a trend of interest in the UK from tech companies seeking to scale their AI offerings and research after ex-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak pitched the UK as a welcoming hub of AI innovation. Further, last year Salesforce announced a $4 billion dollar investment in the UK and Ireland. These decisions are a positive sign of confidence for the future of Salesforce in the UK market, as well as for the macro economy of the UK.
Data Cloud:
- This year, Data Cloud was the big talking point being pushed throughout the whole event. Businesses are full of data, but much of it is trapped in separate systems and across different departments of the business which makes the data somewhat useless. Essentially, Data Cloud can unify this data to power AI systems with relevant outputs. The value of data was emphasised greatly throughout the event. Without good data, we can’t run our businesses and make informed decisions. This applies to AI too and Salesforce luckily have the solution with Data Cloud and their AI offerings.
Enterprise AI:
- Salesforce talked in great depth about their 5 step approach to Enterprise AI:
- Unify apps and data: to build an AI strategy, you first need to collate your data and ensure its health and usability.
- Discover AI insights: use your AI to explore your insights and increase the speed at which your results appear.
- Collaborate with AI: you can’t use AI if you and your staff aren’t trained and don’t understand how to use it and what to use it for.
- Give AI new skills: using the Einstein One Studio, you can create custom actions to serve your business.
- Equip AI to act: use Eistein co-pilot to generate your desired outputs.
Performa IT sponsors the World Tour
- Last, but certainly not least, we were incredibly proud to be an official sponsor of the event! Our booth certainly stood out, and we were delighted by the overwhelmingly positive reaction to our new Pip plushies! Having attended the World Tour for many years, it was surreal to see our branding across the event hall and people queueing up to speak to us. We are very grateful for the opportunity and look forward to returning as sponsors again soon!
So, the World Tour was a big success this year. The UK is winning big in the AI space, Salesforce is continuing to deliver the most innovative products to the market and we continue to grow our operations and improve our visibility. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Salesforce and ourselves.
